Founded in 1829, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society is dedicated to encouraging the science and practice of horticulture and developing the public's enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of plants and the environment. Mass Hort's 36-acre hands-on horticulture center offers adults and children the opportunity to experience, enjoy, and learn about plants and the environment. The grounds and buildings of Elm Bank are also the ideal setting for celebrating weddings and holiday parties or for holding corporate events.

The West Suburban YMCA, founded in 1877, is among the oldest YMCAs in the United States. We serve families from the cities of Newton and Watertown, and the towns of Wellesley, Weston, and Belmont. Our service area approaches 180,000 adults and children and is rich in cultural, ethnic, and economical diversity. We are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our Y community and combating childhood obesity with character building programs for individuals and families.
