Your Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant and growing business organization supported by members from education, engineering, industry, professional services, retail and real estate, as well as by individual associates.  The Chamber is a voluntary organization of business and professional people dedicated to promoting the civic and economic vitality of their community.  Funded by membership investments, a Chamber is not affiliated with local and state government, nor is it accountable to any other organization

A Chamber represents the interests of its membership, in the spirit of cooperation with the plan and philosophy of economic development set forth by the community.  We also represent our members interests before local, state and federal elected officials.  Bylaws, legislation and regulations affecting business and the economic climate are addressed by Chambers on the local, state and national levels.

Our strength lies in the number and diversity of our membership.  Because the Wellesley Chamber collectively embodies the vast expertise of the many businesses and professionals in the membershp, it has the knowledge and insight to identify issues of importance to the business community and the combined means to devise and implement strategies to address them.  The chamber accomplishes collectively what no one business or professional can do alone.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Wellesley Chamber of Commerce was incorporated
and exists for the purpose of advancing the commercial,
industrial, professional, civic, educational, cultural and
general interests of Wellesley and its environs.  Our
organization of business and professional people works
for a healthy economic climate of good jobs, capital
creation and honest, efficient government.

Our Board of Directors are elected annually for staggered terms of three years.  They meet on the second Tuesday of designated months.

Over the years, the Chamber has developed numerous programs to benefit its membership.  New opportunities are constantly reviewed and evaluated to determine whether they meet the needs of our members.  Please check out some of the popular programs and BENEFITS here.
